In this module, you'll

• Explore the world of flat patternmaking and learn why there is a "method to the madness" of manipulating darts FIRST! This technique is the foundation on which other techniques are layered.

• Learn to move the dart fullness around the bodice using either the pivot or slash method. You'll also master the art of proper bust point placement, ensuring a perfect fit every time.

• Discover the incredible diversity of  "darts" by transforming them into tucks, pleats and gathers.
• Learn to differentiate between a "style line" and a "dart equivalent seam line."

• Recognize the difference between one-dart and two-dart styles and discover which is best for various figure types.

• Test your skills with fun and engaging practical exercises. Begin analysing designs you see "out there" and start identifying "how they did that!"
