Hi, I'm Virginia
I help committed, creative makers close the gap between what they envision and what they can actually execute.
After 30 years in the garment industry as a designer and Director of Product Development - leading creative teams, solving complex technical challenges, and developing products from concept to production - I was downsized from a career I loved.
That transition forced me to reinvent myself while staying true to what made that career fulfilling: deep craft literacy, clear-eyed problem-solving, and the ability to see what's actually happening in a piece of work.
Now I create mixed media textile art, design artful clothing and bring that director's perspective to makers who are done with motivation and hand-holding. I offer honest guidance, focused critique, and the kind of clarity that comes from decades of professional experience - not tips and tricks, not cheerleading, but real direction that helps you do exceptional work.
If you're a committedĀ creative working in fabric, fiber, or textiles and you're ready to strengthen your craft and sharpen your thinking, you're in the right place.
